London’s calling: Matchbook Traders Conference makes capital city return

The sports betting industry has been invited to get a glimpse of the trends that are shaping the sector, as the Matchbook Traders Conference returns to London on 1 November.

Held at 155 Bishopsgate, near to Liverpool Street station in the UK’s capital city, this year’s event will also give delegates the chance to meet some of the most influential minds in betting, with more than 600 industry professionals expected to be in attendance.

With less than a month to go, Matchbook is still busy putting the finishing touches to the day’s schedule, but has confirmed details for two of the nine conference sessions.

From 11:00 am in the main hall, there will be an expert panel on NFL betting insights and analysis, featuring professional gamblers Nick Goff and Neil Channing, alongside sports broadcaster Michael Carlson and Brad Allen, News Editor at EGR Intel.

Following this quartet on to the stage will be Harry Findlay, the man who has won over £20 million through betting and spent every penny, as he discusses his ‘Gambling for Life’.

Danielle Desroches, Brand Manager at Matchbook, said: “We’re really excited to bring the Matchbook Traders Conference back to London this year. Drawing on the success from our first event, we’re bringing together some of the sharpest minds in the betting world – bit by bit we’re announcing our diverse range of speakers on our website.”

“It’s the perfect event to meet some of the most influential people in sports betting,” she continued. “Academics to gambling legends will make up the 600 attendees who come from all corners of the sports betting and trading world.”
