Confirming its full rebrand to ‘Jackpotjoy Plc’, Intertain Group governance is targeting a mid-October listing on the London FTSE.
Moving away from its current Toronto TSX-listing, Intertain will debut Jackpotjoy Plc as the world’s biggest online bingo operator seeking a + £430 million London capitalization.
Updating investors last week, Intertain governance announced that the company would be returning its headquarters to London, with Jackpotjoy serving as the parent company for its gaming assets. Commenting on its return to London, Intertain governance stated that London ‘felt like home’.
Preparing for its London float, Intertain closes a period of corporate restructure, which saw the operator install a new governance team led by former Gala Coral boss Neil Goulden as Chairman, with Andy McIver (former Sportingbet CEO) as new Chief Executive Officer.
Commenting on his firm’s target London IPO, Neil Goulden stated “I am delighted to be chairing the Jackpotjoy board at this exciting point in the company’s history. Under Andrew McIver’s leadership, supported by Keith Laslop, and with a high-calibre management team and a well-balanced board, Jackpotjoy is now seeking to comply with the highest standards of UK corporate governance.”
“Accordingly we will also voluntarily comply with certain investor protection mechanisms as if a UK premium-listed company, ensuring that we now have the right corporate governance structure in place to take the company into its next phase of growth.”
