After an unpredictable day at Taunton last week, SBC News will be hoping to stay on top of the Tipster Leaderboard for another week. We are back with the second instalment of our Horse Racing Tipster at Lingfield!
A quick reminder that, for the purpose of the competition, we will assume that all selections are backed with 1 point. Lost tips will count as 0 and won bets will be added to the leaderboard at SP value. The results will be available on SBC News from Thursday morning.
This time we are taking on BettingExpert, Timeform and McBookie. Here is the full list of selections from our tipsters for each of the seven races today; after the late abandonment at Newbury, attention turns to Lingfield:

SBC News: Fearbuster
Finished 5th on debut at Wolverhampton, and is heavily backed to improve here.
BettingExpert: Fearbuster
Shaped well from a car park draw on debut and seems sure to improve a chunk for the experience.
Timeform: Fearbuster
Fearbuster showed ability despite not being seen to best effect on debut last month and that experience shouldn’t have been wasted on her. She gets the nod in this maiden with better expected.
McBookie: Fearbuster
Fearbuster didn’t get home on her last race so the drop down to 5 furlongs should be right up her street.

SBC News: Byron Flyer
A pretty weak race card, so we’re siding with Byron Flyer, athough a little unhappy at the short price.
BettingExpert: Byron Flyer
Bumper form looks useful in the context of this weak race.
Timeform: Byron Flyer
Byron Flyer shaped encouragingly when fourth on his bumper debut last spring, offering the hope of better still, and he gets the vote with Adam Kirby booked ahead of his respective return.
McBookie: Byron Flyer
Byron Flyer is expected to go well on his debut after looking good in a bumper last year. There certainly looks good market confidence behind the horse and should have the stamina to win.

SBC News: Nortron
Placed on 2 of his last 3 starts, albeit at shorter odds than he is here. Hopefully he can pip the Steal The Scene, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
BettingExpert: Be Royale
Ran a lot better than the bare form last time and looks overpriced at around 8/1.
Timeform: Steal The Scene
Steal The Scene is proving consistent on AW this winter, running another creditable race when fourth at Chelmsford recently, and he shades the vote to add another win to his tally.
McBookie: Corporal Maddox
Corporal Maddox has gone up in the weights again and although it wont make his job any easier, he has enough grit and determination to be in the mix. At the bigger prices I am happy to side with him over Steal The Scene.

SBC News: Thomas Blossom
Harlestone Hopes’ lack of experience isn’t reflective in a price that is too short for us; we’re siding with Thomas Blossom for better value.
BettingExpert: Thomas Blossom
George Baker an eye-catching booking and he can swoop late if getting the breaks.
Timeform: Thomas Blossom
It’s possible Thomas Blossom was in need of last month’s Wolverhampton return on debut for Ali Stronge and, from a further reduced mark could well represent some value under George Baker.
McBookie: Running Wolf
I always like backing horses that come back to the flat after runs over hurdles and that means Running Wolf looks a good each-way investment. Lack of speed might be his only concern.

SBC News: Aguerooo
3 time winner on AW this winter; with a bunched field expected, we are backing Aguerooo to emulate his namesake and claim a last ditch victory.
BettingExpert: Aguerooo
Progressive performer had an excuse last time and seems sure to go close.
Timeform: Alshaqee
Chelmsford maiden scorer Alshaqee can easily be forgiven his handicap debut effort latest having encountered traffic problems, and he gets the nod to land what looks a competitive 3-y-o event despite the small field.
McBookie: Aguerooo
Aguerooo has been in fine form having not been out of the first two in his last five starts. That consistency gives him the edge over the other horses and looks the one to beat.

SBC News: Wink Oliver
The yard has been successful, he is in peak form himself and the odds look attractive.
BettingExpert: Wink Oliver
Yard has been in great form over jumps and this looks a good opening if proving as effective at this track.
Timeform: Chelwood Gate
Chelwood Gate shaped well in third over C&D on his latest start, and now 1lb below his last winning mark, he gets the nod to confirm the promise of that effort.
McBookie: Wink Oliver
Wink Oliver was finishing strongly over this distance last time out and with more experience over this trip has a great chance to get his head in front.

SBC News: Exalted
SBC are hoping for another last race win after last week’s Olympian Boy success. This week we are backing Paddy Bradley on Exalted.
BettingExpert: Exalted
6lb rise for latest win looks very lenient and a drop in trip no issue at all.
Timeform: Exalted
Exalted is less exposed than most he will meet at this level, and on the back of a career-best effort at Kempton last time, gets the vote to add another win to the tally.
McBookie: Exalted
Exalted is dropping back in class so looks a worthy favourite in the last. Hierarch and Mercury both won last time out so it won’t be as straight forward as the price suggests but he should have enough in the tank to make it two in a row.
