Playtech hires Neil Offord as Chief Analyst

Igaming and gambling technology supplier Playtech has confirmed the hire of BDO Capital Markets Neil Offord as its new Chief Analyst.

Offord who led BDO’s transactions services division, has extensive knowledge of igaming and sports betting corporate reporting and analysis having worked on numerous industry projects. Offord has further gained crucial analyst experience and insight having worked on international mergers, IPO’s and corporate fund raising projects.

Offord a qualified accountant joins the UK listed technology supplier, during a period of extensive growth in its operations. Offord is set to lead company research and competitor reporting initiatives on potential Playtech targets, as the technology supplier further develops its acquisition strategy in the coming months

Following consecutive performance quarters of growth and record revenues. Playtech governance has continually highlighted corporate expansion through strategic acquisitions.

On Monday Playtech announced its agreed acquisition of  financial trading and spread betting operator Plus500 for a deal value of £460 million. The London listed Plc has further acquired forex and binary trading specialist Trade FX for £140 million in April of this year as it looks to extend its operations and services
