Rank Group plc retail and digital bingo operator Mecca Bingo, has confirmed the appointment of Anna Shirley as Marketing Director of the Mecca Bingo division from 3rd August 2015.
Shirley joins from Sainsbury’s, where she has held a number of senior marketing positions over the last 13 years, including Head of National Advertising, Head of Own Brand Marketing, Head of Local Marketing and most recently Head of Customer Experience.
Rank Group confirmed that Shirley would take over leadership of digital and retail bingo initiatives, as the operator looks to increase it presence as a UK bingo leader and expand into new markets .
Shirley commented on her appointment as Marketing Director, “I am delighted to be working with Mecca as Marketing Director. It’s a fantastic business and the company has great plans for its future. I’m looking forward to joining a great team.”
