FDJ joins l’Alliance skills sharing community

Groupe FDJ has become a member of French ‘skills sharing community’ lAlliance pour le mécénat de compétences, providing support and solidarity to France’s charitable and civic organisations.

l’Alliance promotes skill sharing opportunities and programmes to employees of its members, helping to support French charitable organisations working across multiple areas such as education, the environment, family support, social mobility and research.

FDJ has joined the skill-sharing community following overwhelming support from its employees, who backed the directive to be directly involved in causes that they support.

The group will establish a new l’Alliance programme allowing its employees to participate in ‘weekly assignments’ helping education and social mobility charities.

Dedicated employees will also be allowed to participate in ‘longer l’Alliance assignments’ working exclusively with a charity for a two month period granted by FDJ.

“FDJ’s Corporate Foundation is dedicated to equal opportunities and the fight against exclusion. For more than twenty-five years, FDJ has offered solidarity actions with its employees to get involved and give of their time,” said Charles Lantieri, Chairman of the FDJ Corporate Foundation.

“This joint commitment with its employees is one of the ways of bringing our raison d’être  – in which we perpetuate our societal and solidarity actions!  For charitable organisations, the direct commitment of our employees reinforces the value given to the financial support of the FDJ Foundation.”
