Kindred confirms Johan Wilsby as inbound CFO

Further to publishing its Q1 2020 trading update this morning, Kindred Group Plc has confirmed the appointment of Johan Wilsby as new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Wilsby is to join Kindred’s executive leadership team in Autumn 2020, and will replace current CFO incumbent Albin de Beauregard.

A seasoned financial lead for fast growth technology enterprises, Wilsby will join Kindred leadership from Swedish cyber security solutions provider Tobii AB.

Wilsby has also served as CFO for Hewlett Packard Sweden (2010-2013) and Microsoft Western Europe (2004-2007).

 The executive will take responsibilities of financial planning, risk management and auditing for all Kindred Group subsidiaries.

“I am delighted that Johan will be joining the Kindred team,” said Henrik Tjärnström, CEO Kindred Group. “In addition to Johan’s capability in finance, his extensive experience from the digital industry will ensure he can engage in our operations from the start and be an important part of the management of the company.”

Publishing its first quarter 2020 trading update, Kindred explained its decision to ‘rationalise the group’s portfolio’ by stopping operation of a number of its smaller brands.
