Betgenius launches ‘next level’ sportsbook streaming service

Jack Davison – Betgenius

Betgenius continues to enhance its sports betting engagement provisions, after launching its first ever streaming service designed to help sportsbooks plug crucial gaps in their in-play betting schedules with sports content from around the world.

Seeking to become the industry’s optimal streaming service, Betgenius has developed its product from partnerships with official rights holders across multiple sports, maintained through Genius Sports Group.

Leveraging Genius Sports group capacity, Betgenius details that it has delivered betting incumbents a content service featuring thousands of low latency streams including content which has never before been available to sportsbooks.

Jack Davison, Chief Commercial Officer at Genius Sports Group, said: “Our close relationships with sports rights holders across the world have given us access to new, high-quality streaming content which will significantly enhance our sportsbook partners’ in-play products.”

In its product notes, Betgenius details that it has focused its new vertical on boosting bookmaker engagement during off-peak times, allowing customers to offer optimal streaming content ‘around the clock’, enhancing bet placements and customer retention during quiet scheduling periods

Betgenius’ streaming service sees all video content captured direct from pitch/courtside, and is further paired-up with official data and live betting services, and features easy-access API integration.

“Combined with fast, accurate data on thousands of fixtures, this is a new and cost-effective way to attract more customers with a complete and immersive live betting experience,” Davison added.

Betgenius has disclosed that bet365 is among the first tier1 sportsbooks to go live with its streaming vertical, with more partnership set to be announced in the coming weeks.
