CheckdMedia launches ‘Fantasy Hub’ seeking to disrupt all fantasy football engagements

Sports betting affiliate marketing publisher CheckdMedia has expanded its product portfolio, launching its ‘Fantasy Hub’ app, seeking to further engage with new and existing UK football audiences.

Made available through iOS and Android, the Fantasy Hub is a free-to-play app produced by CheckdMedia’s newly formed ‘CheckdDevelopment’ unit seeking to tap into the publisher’s network of football communities, who engage regularly with fantasy football games.

Fantasy Hub seeks to bring new matchday dynamics to standard fantasy football formats, rewarding players instantly, rather than through season-long participation.

In its press release, CheckdMedia details that Fantasy Hub will offer matchday prize competitions across the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Sky Bet Championship and major international football tournaments.

Furthermore, innovating standard fantasy football gameplay, the Fantasy Hub has been developed with focus on in-play interactions, which sees fluctuating player prices, combined with Head-to-Head competitions keeping fans engaged throughout the whole weekend of football fixtures.

Fantasy Hub uses the technology behind the popular Fantasy iTeam game that was one of the first app-only products in the industry at the time of its introduction in 2010

Commenting on developments, Adam Patton CheckdMedia’s Product Director stated: “This was an obvious first step for the Checkd Group on our path to offering more games and content to our football fanatic audience. Fantasy has long been a great platform to build a relationship with UK fans, and the app itself is a unique and addictive variation on the traditional games we’ve all played for years.”
