Mr Green ups customer reach integrating SWISH pay

MRG Group European online gambling subsidiary Mr Green has stated its intent on accelerating its Swedish market position by integrating the popular SWISH payment service.

Launched in 2012 by the Central Bank of Sweden, SWISH is currently the nation’s most popular mobile payment service with a reported 6.7million active users and 180,000 connected businesses.

As the merchant has grown in size and user take-up, SWISH has developed a reputation for fast and easy mobile payments whilst keeping security at the forefront of its business services, cross-referencing all transactions with Swedish National ID verifications.

In its statement to stakeholders, Mr Green details that SWISH mobile payment provisions will help the operator deliver a ‘superior gaming experience in a responsible environment’ for customers in the re-regulated Swedish online gambling marketplace

Mr Green Chief Executive Jesper Kärrbrink further complimented this new relationship, stating:

“The online consumer behaviour in Sweden has adapted very fast to both payment services like Swish and identification through BankID.”

“By applying these already highly-appreciated services within our registration and payment systems our players will be able to enjoy a smoother and faster gaming experience.”
