Betway expands its European football sponsorship portfolio, confirming that it has become the official betting partner of Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The online bookmaker has secured a three-year partnership arrangement with the North Rhine football club as it makes its return to the Bundesliga.
Betway currently services one of the most active betting football marketing portfolios, which includes sponsorship of West Ham United since 2015 and have further partnerships with fellow Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, Belgian First Division A club Anderlecht, Italian Serie A giants AS Roma and three La Liga clubs, Deportivo Alaves, C.D. Leganés and Levante U. D.
Updating the market Betway CEO Antony Werkman said: “It’s been a very busy summer at Betway. Following three deals with La Liga clubs in Spain and AS Roma in Italy, we’ve today strengthened our hand in the German market by partnering with Dusseldorf.
“It’s an exciting time for the club, having just been promoted to the Bundesliga, and we’re really pleased to have come on board as they look to build on last season’s success.”
This August Betway confirmed the appointment of Saatchi Saatchi London as its lead creative agency, further outlining that the bookmaker would launch a series of Pan-European marketing campaigns for 2018.
