Spanish gambling operator Grupo Codere has entered a strategic joint-venture with independent arcade operator Grupo Henares, to launch new gaming hall enterprise ‘BetSlotS’.
The joint-venture partnership will see Codere launch eleven new Madrid-based gaming halls operated by Grupo Henares.
Launching the enterprise within Madrid’s community, Codere and Grupo Henares detailed that the BetSlotS joint-venture would target a new/fresh clientele to engage with Spanish gaming halls.
Updating investors, Codere governance stated that it was confident in its new venture, merging Grupo Henares’ expertise in leisure and hospitality with the firm’s newly enhanced gaming systems.
Project stakeholders have detailed that BetSlotS premises will seek to modernise gaming halls for Spanish consumers, offering ambient gaming spaces with premium customer rewards, refreshing the appeal of gaming arcades to new audiences.
The BetSlotS joint venture will form part of Codere’s ongoing home market expansion.
In 2018, the Spanish gambling group announced that it had surpassed + 2,500 betting points operating within Spain, as the firm grew its presence in the regions of Andalucía and the Balearic Islands.
Furthermore, in 2018 Codere celebrates its tenth year as a Spanish bookmaker, having opened its first betting point within its ‘Bingo Canoe’ Madrid property in April 2008.
