Tom Cregan,

Eastern European betting group Fortuna Entertainment has expanded its player payment provisions by integrating EML Payments Europe (EML Group) ‘branded reloadable cards’ for its multi-channel operations.

Fortuna the largest betting operator within Eastern Europe’s regulated markets, will initially roll-out EML cards access across its Czech Republic operations, with the potential to expand to other core markets in which the group operates.

EML’s branded reloadable cards can be used by Fortuna customers to immediately access their winnings and have the added capability to remit funds directly into their online betting accounts.

EML management details that the new payment option will aid Fortuna’s ongoing omni-channel strategy by bridging payment functions between the operator’s retail and online assets.

Confirming the partnership, EML Group CEO Tom Cregan, commented: “This is an exciting development for the EML business and we thank Fortuna for selecting EML to partner with and be the first operator to launch these cards in Europe. We look forward to working on the program launch and demonstrating the customer demand for our solution across multiple countries and markets”.
