FTSE-listed bookmaker William Hill is set to open its new technology and marketing dedicated office at ‘The Avenue’ on Tottenham Court Road in Central London.

The bookmaker will move its technology development and online marketing operations within the new building operated by commercial real-estate developer Exemplar and property investment firm Ashby Capital.

The Avenue a 30,000 sq ft office building, finished its completion last March, William Hill technology and marketing divisions will be sharing the building space with international flights and holiday comparison website SkyScanner.

Following a review of its operations, William Hill announced last June that it would be shutting down its Tel Aviv technology division, making approximately 200 staff members redundant.

At the time, William Hill governance detailed that it was seeking a new direction for its development and product arms, with the bookmaker further stating that its technology operations would be split between a new Central London office and cost effective technology hub in Krakow (Poland).
