French licensed online gambling group Winamax has this week confirmed that it has renewed its betting partnerships/sponsorships with Ligue 1 football clubs FC Nantes and Girondins de Bordeaux.
The firm confirmed that it had renewed Girondins terms, which will see the Winamax firm continue to be promoted on Bordeux’s match-day sleeves and shorts for a further two seasons.
Its FC Nantes sponsorship will see Winamax continue to be promoted as club betting partner for Ligue 1 season 2017/18.
Speaking to French sports media, Alexandre Roos, Managing Director of Winamax was pleased to have renewed the partnerships during the French football’s close season and stated that both Bordeaux and Nantes formed intrinsic parts of Winamax marketing strategy.
Throughout 2016, Winamax management has sought to push its sports betting product for the French market, diversifying its player offering from its core product of online poker. The company had targeted growth for its betting division through high coverage French Football marketing partnerships.
