Arena Racing appoints Antony Hopkins as new Director of International

UK racecourse management group Arena Racing Company (ARC) has today confirmed the appointment of Antony Hopkins as its new Director of International Markets.

A racing industry commercial veteran, Hopkins joins ARC leadership from retail betting products supplier and media supplier SIS, where he served as Head of International Business Development (2006-2017).

Confirming the appointment of Hopkins, ARC governance stated that it had found the best candidate to lead the firm’s international commerce initiatives. Hopkins has prior racing experience in dealing with international stakeholders in numerous established jurisdictions and new markets.

ARC’s Director of Media Technology and Production, Mark Kingston, said: “We are delighted to welcome Antony to the team. His years of experience of international markets will be of great assistance to us as the business continues to grow, both its customer base and product offering.”

Hopkins will officially start the leadership position this September, reporting to ARC governance. Hopkins stated on joining ARC’s executive team
