Sportradar appoints Warren Murphy as Betradar MD

Sports data, analysis and content provider Sportradar AG has confirmed the appointment of Warren Murphy as its group Managing Director of Sports Betting.

Murphy, the former CEO of Sporting Index Group (2009-2016), takes over the strategic direction and commercial delivery of Sportradar’s fast growing betting division Betradar.

An industry veteran, Murphy has held leadership positions at Sporting Index and Camelot UK, focusing on product development, commercial strategy and marketing. Working closely with Sportradar and Betradar product teams, Murphy will become a key stakeholder in the development of the firm’s betting suite and asset portfolio.

Murphy confirmed his appointment as MD of Sportradar’s betting division via LinkedIn, by stating: “I join Sportradar today as Managing Director of their Betting Division (Betradar). It’s a great customer focussed company and a global leader in leveraging sports data and digital content. I can’t wait to start working with everyone internally and externally connected with the company.”
