Totolotek partnership sees Betradar first in Polish market for Virtual Sports

Intralot Polish market subsidiary Totolotek has partnered with Betradar’s Virtual Sports division, bringing the first set of Virtual Games to Poland’s newly reformed gambling market.

Updating stakeholders, Betradar informed that it would supply Totolotek betting retail points with initial Virtual Sports simulations of its popular content for football, horseracing and greyhounds.

New provisions attached to Poland’s reformed Gambling Bill which came into effect this April, have allowed for licensed betting operators to service Virtual Games services. Totolotek has therefore moved to become the first regulated bookmaker in Poland to introduce virtual event betting.

“Betting on virtual sports events is increasingly popular in other countries, and has been available for many years. In Poland, betting on such events was made possible by the provisions of the amended Gambling Law, effective since April” commented Adam Lamentowicz, CEO of Totolotek on his firm’s Betradar partnership

“We believe that this kind of gaming will be of great interest to our customers. It is fast and much more accessible than betting on real games. We have put a lot of work into making the simulations as realistic and elaborate as possible, and placed a lot of data inside so as to enable players to analyse possible results”
