Industry affiliate marketing and player acquisition specialist RakeTech Group (RakeTech) has confirmed that its undertaken two corporate acquisitions, purchasing sports betting platform provider BetXpert and affiliate network Turtle Gaming.
Confirming its ‘undisclosed sum’ purchases, RakeTech management detailed that it had acquired BetXpert for its ‘high-quality’ sports content, online betting competencies and live score/data capabilities.
The acquisition of Turtle Gaming, sees RakeTech continue to expand its affiliate marketing presence within its core Nordic market. Turtle Gaming operates a number of high coverage affiliates portals including leading Finnish websites TurtleBet.com and Nettikasinot.Casino.
Michael Holmberg, RakeTech Group CEO commented on the acquisitions: “The acquisitions of BetXpert and Turtle Gaming has advanced our position as a leading provider of gaming affiliate content in Europe. BetXpert is a well-known brand who are renowned for quality journalistic content and an objective view of the gambling industry. The Turtle Gaming acquisition provides us with multiple high-quality online gambling media websites, that will further enhance our position in Finland.”
Updating the market, RakeTech management detailed that the acquisitions form part of the firm’s recent €70 million investment dedicated towards M&A and infrastructure growth.
Confirming the sale of BetXpert, Tue Lumbye Founder and CEO of the company : “BetXpert has come a very long way since we launched back in 2003.
