Wetten.com appoints Jeff Tabone as Director of Sportsbook

New German focused sports betting operator Wetten.com has confirmed the appointment of Jeff Tabone as its first ever Director of Sportsbook.

Tabone will join Wetten.com operations this June from European operator Betsson Group, where he served as Head of Sportsbook (2015-2017), as well as in other senior management positions within Betsson trading and sports betting operations.

Powered by Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) iGaming Cloud platform, German-language online sportsbook Wetten.com was launched this January.

Ahead of Germany adopting a national framework for online sports betting regulation, Wetten.com seeks to establish itself as a marquee brand for German betting consumers.

As Director of Sportsbook, Tabone will be charged with leading the new bookmaker’s betting product strategy, operational initiatives, and trading/risk teams.
