UK bookmaker Coral has announced that it has launched Digital Sports Tech betting solutions on its platform, broadening its market choice for customers.

Launched today under a ‘period of exclusivity’ with Coral, Digital Sports Tech solutions is the only industry product that enables customers to create and customise their own bets on player performance across a range of statistics and sports in real time.

Coral launches its Digital Sports Tech inventory, offering markets on football, basketball, rugby league and American football. The bookmaker gave the following examples of betting types which its customers will be allowed to create;

  • Single player bet: David Silva to make at least 75 passes against Man United
  • Combined player bet: Diego Costa and Jamie Vardy to have at least 8 shots on target combined
  • Head-to-head bet: Paul Pogba to make more tackles than Jordan Henderson

Detailing the partnership with Digital Sports Tech, Keith O’Loughlin, Sportsbook Director at Coral, said: “Digital Sports Tech have created something genuinely different with their player proposition betting platform, which makes sports betting even more engaging for punters.

“We’re committed to providing Coral customers with the very best experience and we’re really excited about the potential of Player Bets. It is a really engaging and fun addition to our customer proposition.

“The customer groups we’ve shown it to so far have absolutely loved it and we’ll be promoting it heavily through all channels.”

Ari Lewski, Executive Director at Digital Sports Tech, was pleased to have secured his firms first major supplier solutions agreement with Coral UK

Player based betting is an untapped and therefore major growth area for the industry. There is huge demand for player related betting opportunities from punters, which you could argue has evolved from the growing popularity of fantasy sports.

“Giving users the power to create and personalise their own player bets will change the actual experience of betting for many fans and will also provide them with a far deeper level of engagement with the sport. We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Coral. They’re obviously a major brand in the betting industry with great heritage, and they’ve been a very proactive partner.”

“We’ve had a tremendous reaction to the product since we launched this summer and we’re now looking forward to a long and successful association with Coral
