Rational Group appoints former mybet CEO Zeno Osskó as BetStars lead

Amaya Inc subsidiary Rational Group has confirmed the appointment of Zeno Osskó as Managing Director of BetStars, its online sports betting division.

Osskó takes on the leadership of BetStars, having resigned as CEO of Frankfurt Xetra-listed European sports betting operator mybet SE last month.

Rational Group management confirmed that Osskó would join its division on 12 September taking on overall responsibilities and strategic initiatives of BetStars, as the recently launched betting operator expands in European markets.

Confirming the appointment, Rational Group Chief Executive Officer, Rafi Ashkenazi stated

“Zeno is the right person to lead BetStars into the future, His experience leading a portfolio of online and retail gaming products and the development and roll-out of an omni-channel sports betting product will help position BetStars for continued product improvement and growth. He is a strong addition to our experienced executive management team.”

Ossko commented on taking on BetStars leadership “BetStars has a bright future within the PokerStars family and I look forward to leveraging PokerStars’ existing base of more than 103 million registered customers as well as making BetStars a new customer acquisition channel for the company.”

Rational Group governance confirmed that Ossko would relocate to its Isle of Man headquarters.
