Malta-based European sports betting operator Tipico Sportwetten (Tipico), continues to extend its brand coverage within Danish football by announcing a 2-year betting partnership with Esbjerg fB.

The new partnership was officially announced on Esbjerg fB website, with Tipico marketing agreeing terms ahead of the start of the Danish Super Liga 2016/17 season.

As key to its future growth strategy, Tipico governance has detailed the importance of growing its operations and brand outside of its key markets of Germany and Austria, with the company specifically targeting growth in Denmark.

Seeking to expand its services and brand coverage within Denmark, recent marketing initiatives have seen Tipico become an official partner to the Danish National Football Association (deal announced June 2015).

Tipico has further backed its Danish initiatives by appointing former Denmark and Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel as Danish Brand Ambassador promoting its ‘Big Match Campaign’ in 2015.

Confirming the partnership Esbjerg fB management stated that it looked forward to working with Tipico marketing on the promotion of its brand to its supporters and helping the clubs social initiatives.
