LeoVegas Sports launches in time for Euro 2016

Having secured its Stockholm Nasdaq IPO in March, mobile gaming specialist Leo Vegas has announced that it is ready to launch its sports betting offering ‘LeoVegas Sports’ on Friday 13 May.

The Malta and UK licensed firm will bring its sports betting product powered by Kambi, in time for the start of the UEFA Euro 2016 Championships (10 June – 10 July) a key period for all industry operators.

Leo Vegas governance stated that all requirements had been met for launch of ‘LeoVegas Sports’, a betting brand that will aim to bring an optimal experience for mobile sports betting customers. Its Kambi powered sportsbook will aim to bring “several unique characteristics, including easier navigation, intuitive player experience, and faster loading”

LeoVegas Group CEO and co-founder Gustaf Hagman commented on the upcoming launch: 

“LeoVegas’ mobile DNA and innovative strength is the foundation for our market-leading position in mobile gaming. I am very proud of our employees who have enabled us to launch a product that will bring mobile sports betting to a new level.”

LeoVegas marketing will back the launch of its mobile sportsbook with a planned multi-million advertising campaign for the UK and core markets.
