katechambersICE Totally Gaming 2016 was visited by 28,487 industry people, an 11.7 per cent increase on 2015, confirming the London showpiece as the world’s biggest B2B gaming event.

As reported in InterGame, it was the seventh consecutive year in which the show has grown in attendance. The show also had 529 exhibitors from 62 countries.

The figures are subject to an independent audit, in accordance with Clarion Events’ practice of having all of its trade show attendance statistics checked.

Kate Chambers, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming at ExCeL, said: “We invited the world of gaming to enter the Gaming Technopolis and they came – from a total of 150 countries.

“I am delighted with the double-digit increase on 2015. There’s a significant momentum to the event and all of the anecdotal evidence, media reporting and feedback from exhibitors and visitors, is unequivocally positive.”
