The States of Alderney has confirmed that appointment of Susan O’Leary as its new Director of e-commerce. O’Leary is due to take up the role from August replacing Robin Le Provost.

As new Director of e-commerce, O’Leary will be tasked with promoting Alderney’s jurisdictions and operational capabilities for digital commerce. O’Leary will lead commercial initiatives having joined from offshore legal specialist firm Collas Crill, where she was a key member of the firms digital and igaming services team.

In a statement O’Leary commented on her appointment

“I am delighted to take up this position and, having represented some of the world’s leading e-gambling operators and gambling service providers over the years, including many of Alderney’s licensees, I have a keen sense of what operators and gambling service providers require.

“I look forward to representing Alderney in this fast-paced and ever-changing industry, and to building on the excellent relationships developed over many years with local and international operators, regulators and service providers.”

Alderney regulators thanked Robin Le Provost for his contribution to the jurisdictions gaming services during his nine year tenure as e-commerce director. Alderney senior management stated that Le Provost had been a key figure in turning the Jurisdiction into a key business leader for the igaming market.
