Betway furthers its coverage and presence within esports, confirming that it will sponsor the newly reformed ‘Made in Brazil’ (MiBR) team.
The partnership represents Betway’s second esports team sponsorship, with the bookmaker acting as a lead sponsor of Counter Strike outfit Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP).
Coached by Ricardo “DEAD” Sinigaglia, a leading figurehead in the Brazilian esports’ scene, the MiBR team has had one of the most colourful histories in esports.
Founded in 2003, MiBR is Brazil’s oldest esports team, however, in 2012 the outfit dissolved.
In 2018, Sinigaglia announced that MiBR would return to Counter-Strike competitions backed by new investment from leading esports franchise Immortals
MIBR will appear in its comeback competition July 3-8 at ESL One Cologne. Betway will receive significant rights and assets within the deal including access to MIBR’s star players for the creation of exclusive content.

Betway joins K-Swiss clothing, Tinder and Mountain Dew as lead sponsors of MiBR. As team backers, Immortals has confirmed that the team will relocate to Los Angeles to train and practice at the Immortals campus
