Luckbox recruits David Lyons as Player Engagement lead

Esports betting enterprise Luckbox continues to bolster its executive management ranks, as it prepares for its upcoming product launch this 2018.

David Lyons becomes the latest former PokerStars executive to join the Luckbox enterprise team, taking on the responsibilities of Director of Player Engagement.

Lyons will be tasked with developing Luckbox’s initial player rewards system, a key component for the start-up’s growth strategy. Lyons describes his job as “finding cool ways to give value back to our players”.

Working for PokerStars since 2010, Lyons has been a key stakeholder in developing the leading online poker room’s extensive player engagement capabilities and expanding retention dynamics.

Lyons now joins former PokerStars executives Vadim Soloveychik (CMO), Quentin Martin (COO) and Luckbox co-founders Lars Lien and Mike Stevens, in seeking to develop the world’s leading destination and community for esports betting.

“I was intrigued by Luckbox’s motto of ‘esports betting done right’ and when I saw that industry heavy-hitters Archie Watt (CFO) and Vadim were getting involved, and got a chance to meet the rest of the leadership team, I realised that this was start-up with a difference”
