Craig Davies

Craig Davies is a writing enthusiast who joined SBC in September 2017, following years spent in the news and sport sectors of Journalism, in addition to a significant period of time travelling. During his time at the University of Central Lancashire, Craig grasped every opportunity he could to gain experience writing on a plethora of sports. Culminating in a year spent working for The Lancashire Telegraph at Blackburn Rovers during the, then Premier League side’s, 2009/10 season. Upon graduating with a degree in Sports Journalism, he began working for the Tameside Reporter, a regional title, where his primary duty was news, however, it quickly turned into something of a joint role with sports incorporated into the mix. After the newspaper entered administration Craig began doing freelance work for a number of websites in several different fields, before donning a backpack for a two year stay in Australia and South Eastern Asia. Short story writing as he ambled from place to place. Eventually all roads led to home, and his position as a Journalist for SBC.
