Las Vegas based start-up JetBet has announced the launch of its first social sports engagement game with men’s lifestyle and entertainment brand Maxim Magazine.
The game titled “Maxim Sports Live” will allow US sports fans to predict real-time sports results in an optimised “second screen” environment.
The game will be promoted throughout Maxim’s digital verticals and on the media owners social channels. JetBet will launch Maxim branded game apps in the coming months.
JetBet’s Maxim partnership will initially target US NFL football fans which have a reported 16 million viewers per game.
The start-up was founded by video gaming veteran Louis Castle, with the aim of bridging social engagement with US sports viewer habits. JetBet will reward users for their interaction and knowledge of sports
Founder Louis Castle has prior experience in real money gambling, having led strategy for gambling service provider Shuffle Master Entertainment.
Castle stated that the Maxim branded game was in no way related to DFS market, as users would not compete for real money prizes.
Commenting on the partnership Castle said “Maxim has built the leading men’s lifestyle brand by understanding the pulse of their audience,”
