Nairabet goes virtual with Betradar

NairaNairabet is the first bookmaker worldwide to successfully implement Betradar’s Virtual Basketball League (VBL) into its portfolio of products. Virtual Basketball has been live since the beginning of August and complements Nairabet’s Virtual Sports offering perfectly.

It is the fifth sport the Nigerian based company offers from Betradar’s portfolio of Virtual Sports. With this addition of an exclusive product, Nairabet underlines its role as a key player in the African market and the importance of a broad range of diversified products.

Virtual Basketball is the first basketball product out in the market and brings in all the assets available in other virtual sports from Betradar. 16 teams are competing in league-format with 8 matches alwaysrunning in parallel, resulting in over 2,400 fixtures per day that provide all major betting markets based on Betradar’s market-leading odds feed as found for real basketball matches. Thereby, the product has been developed to be as close as possible to betting on real events with included live scores, tables and statistics, but with one major difference: a new match starts every 3.5 minutes which allows high-frequency betting at all times including multiples. Furthermore, the product has been developed for punters to place bets intuitively.

Virtual Basketball was launched through software provider SB Betting. Michal Glowacki, COO of SB Betting, stated: “Virtual Basketball League is a perfect addition to the portfolio of Betradar’s VirtualSports. As soon as it had been made available, we got integration requests from the majority of our customers e.g. Nairabet. It also shows how popular other Virtual Sports products have been so far”.

Neale Deeley, Commercial Director at Sportradar, commented: “We are more than proud to have Virtual Basketball live with our trusted partner Nairabet. The quick decision to implement a very recently launched product proves to us that we made a good job creating a very convincing product, which is perceived very well throughout the entire market. We are also happy about the smooth and quick integration through SB Betting”.
