Industry news source EGR Magazine has reported that Betfair Sports Betting Operations Director Nick Hagen has departed the operator.
Hagen had been overseeing the development and strategy of Betfair’s sportsbook and trading operations for three years, playing an instrumental part on the successful launch of the operator’s fixed odds sportsbook product.
Hagan worked between the operators London and Dublin offices, EGR Magazine reports that Hagen has been replaced by current Betfair Risk Management Director Colm Sevastopulo who joined the company from competitor Paddy Power in August 2014.
EGR Magazine further reports that Hagen will take time off from the industry, leaving Betfair for personal reasons.Prior to joining Betfair, Nick Hagen headed up sports betting operations for gambling technology operator GTECH Interactive for a period of 4 years.
