Seeking to expand its digital and tech development capabilities, the management of Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has confirmed that the operator has ‘significantly expanded’ its presence within the Wellington Place Leeds tech hub.
The move sees independent SB&G double its operational workspace within Wellington Place, taking up a total presence of 80,000 square feet.
Having undertaken a significant growth in 2016, to its development and operational teams SB&G governance detailed that as part of its expansion it’s 150 strong tech team would be split into 15 ‘autonomous squads’.
The office space expansion will see SB&G teams supported with the best technology available for employee productivity. Furthermore, SB&G will provide a whole floor dedicated to customer operations, training facilities and product testing.
Updating the market and stakeholders, SB&G governance maintains its commitment to the Yorkshire tech scene, in which the operator has created over 100 digital jobs in the city of Leeds.
