Metric Gaming hires Jim Supple as one of three new executives

Metric Gaming has marked the launch of its London offices by hiring three new executives, including former Betfair and William Hill director Jim Supple.

Jim Supple, Metric GamingAfter 25 years’ experience in the betting industry, Supple is set to become the company’s COO. He will be joined by new CFO Steven Paterson, former Finance Director of William Hill’s retail division. Meanwhile, Sam Foulkes, a former trading chief at Coral, has taken on the role of Trading Director.

Commenting on his appointment, COO Jim Supple said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Metric, and the opening of the London office signifies the company’s expanding ambitions. I was drawn to Metric for its unique technology and talented personnel, and very much look forward to working with new additions Steven and Sam, whose experience will be key to the company’s future success.”

The opening of the London headquarters and appointment of the three new executives comes as Metric continues its development from a provider of in-play systems such as its SuperLive product, to the supplier of a complete sportsbook service.

We believe the experience, expertise and operational excellence that Jim, Steve and Sam bring will help take Metric to the next level.”

Earlier this year, it was announced that gaming operator Gamesys had chosen Metric as its technology provider, while the company has been shortlisted in the Best Innovation in Sports Betting and Best Innovation in Live Betting categories at the upcoming SBC Awards on December 7.

For the Innovation in Live Betting prize, which will be presented by Sky Sports’ Hayley McQueen, SuperLive will be going up against products from InPlay Sports Data, SBTech, Commologic, bet365 and Optima.
