Betfair’s trading team has declared that it has witnessed its ‘greatest cash-out of all time’, as a punter this weekend pocketed £53,000 from a potential £1.5 million accumulator.
The football punter had placed an incredible 22 match accumulator on this weekend’s football matches (listed below).
Betfair detailed that the punter had nerves of steel, as he had been offered a cash-out price of £25,000, ahead of Saturday’s late Premier League match between Manchester City vs West Brom.
With 15 accumulator matches secured, the punter held out as Manchester City came from behind to beat West Brom. Following the conclusion of the match at The Etihad, the punter then ‘Cashed-Out’ to secure his £53,000 winnings.

“This is the mother of all Cash Outs with the customer correctly predicting that Barcelona weren’t going to do the business against Real Sociedad. The UK customer in his late twenties took a Cash Out value of £53,000 15 minutes before kick-off at the Anoeta Stadium and would have been elated to see Barcelona failing to find the net.”
