UK marketing news source Campaign Live (Camapaignlive.co.uk) has reported that European sports betting operator Unibet is seeking a new creative agency for its European media account.
Although not officially confirmed by Unibet marketing, Campaign Live states that current agency Albion will not be pitching for the operator’s European business.
Jason Goodman Albion Founder & CEO commented to Campaign Live on the Unibet account
“We are proud of the work we have done in the betting category, launching Unibet in the UK. It’s an exciting market with a lot of change and we look forward to getting busy on another business reinventing this space.”
London based creative agency Albion has handled the Unibet brand account since 2012 (valued at £2million), launching its first UK TV advertising campaign ‘Unibet – Armchair Experts’.
Unibet who will look for a new creative direction to distinguish its services within the competitive European sports betting market, have yet to announce pitch details for interested agencies.
The European creative pitch will not affect Unibet partnership with Goodstuff Communications which oversees Unibet’s UK media buying account.
