Geert De Vlieger joins Tipico’s Safe Hands Army

European sports betting operator Tipico has announced the appointment of former Belgian international goalkeeper Geert De Vlieger as Belgium brand ambassador.

De Vlieger who retired from professional football in 2011, currently works as a TV pundit on Belgian sports networks.

Tipico marketing detailed that De Vlieger will be used in Belgium focused promotional activities for its build up to next year’s UEFA Euro 2016 football championships in France.

Under the tagline ‘Safe Hands Army’ De Vlieger will promote Tipico sports betting markets alongside Peter Schmeichel (Denmark Ambassador) and Michael Konsel (Austria Ambassador)
