Danish igaming and sports betting focused operator Bet25.dk has become official shirt sponsor of Copenhagen based football club Brøndby IF.
The deal announced last week by the Brøndby IF board, will see the football club promote Bet25.dk products for the 2014/2015 Danish Superliga and European football season. Brøndby IF and Bet25.dk did not disclose any information on the sum of the agreed shirt sponsorship deal.
The agreement between the two parties is set to last for a single season, however Bet25.dk have a first option on shirt sponsorship renewal with Brøndby IF post the 2014/15 Danish Superliga season.
As part of the sponsorship, Bet25.dk will be able to stream live Brøndby IF pre-season football friendlies. The Bet25.dk brand will be visible throughout the Brøndby Stadium (capacity 29,000).
Brøndby IF Chief Executive Jesper Jørgensen commented on the deal “This is much more than a so-called main sponsor agreement. We have been in the market to find a partner that would not only support Brøndby economically, but also provide value for Brøndby in relation to culture, know-how and image. We have now succeeded. And it is an important milestone for our project.”
