Sky Sports’ acquisition of the Chinese Super League’s (CSL) UK TV rights has seen immediate demand, from subscribers, for coverage via the Goalscorer Prices & Settlement (GPS) feed. 
The CSL has made waves this year with a huge push toward attracting top European talent via its, seemingly, limitless pockets.
The likes of Alex Teixeira, Jackson Martinez and Ramires have made the move out there in recent times, whilst some sources are speculating that Roy Hodgson could follow suit and make a big money managerial move.
He’d be competing with fellow former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson should the deal go ahead.
Oddsfeed’s Jeevan Jeyaratnam explained: “Even before the Sky announcement on July 26th we had been asked about adding the CSL to our feed. We suspected a TV deal would be done in time for the new season in April 2017 and so had promised to add the league in time for this.
“Sky were in no mood to wait though and within an hour of the announcement we were fielding requests for an immediate start. The build-up of the European domestic season is one of our busiest periods so adding this now was a challenge. We agreed to cover the two live games in the first week with full coverage commencing on Friday 12th August.”
