More US racing from Turf TV

Following positive feedback from its portfolio of US racing, Turf TV will be adding a third US fixture to the existing package, which will be introduced in June and regularly scheduled from September.  Each additional fixture will be backed up with a full fixed-odds pricing service from the outset.

Adrian Ford, MD of Turf TV, said: “The addition of US racing last year has proved very popular, enabling our customers to expand their evening offer with high quality US racing presented specifically for a UK market.  Following this success we are therefore delighted to announce the addition of a third regular fixture.  We will continue to look for ways to provide new and innovative content, helping to ensure that quality horse racing remains at the heart of the British LBO.”

In June 2013 Turf TV entered an agreement with The Stronach Group in the US, to bring the highest quality US racing to the UK betting shop market.  Following the agreement of an exclusive deal to supply William Hill with its US racing content in January 2014, Turf TV’s service was expanded to include US fixtures seven nights a week.

Feedback to the US content from customers has been very positive. Andy McCue, Head of Retail at Paddy Power, said: “We are always interested in new quality content opportunities and Turf TV’s US racing is no exception. The product is presented in a familiar way to our customers and is attractive to bet on.”

James Henderson, Director of Operations at William Hill Group, added: “The recent introduction of TTV’s US racing service has added an extra dimension to William Hill’s product offering. Our customers have made it known that they really enjoy the high standard of racing being broadcast, throughout the week, from a number of high-profile US tracks”
