SUMMARY

Neteller is a service of Optimal Payments Limited, a firm founded in 1999, which now operates in over 200 countries. Neteller provides a secure online platform to make and receive payments for both businesses and individuals. In 2014 it is one of the largest independent money transfer businesses and processes billions of pounds worth of transactions each year.

The headquarters are based in Isle of Man and they have further offices in the UK, Canada and the States with hundreds of employees worldwide.

At the International Gaming Awards in 2014 it won Payment Solutions Company Provider of the Year, as well as Best Payment System for Affiliates at the IGB Affiliate Awards, whilst CEO Joel Leonoff took home the CEO of the Year Award from the UK Stock Market Awards 2014.

KEY PRODUCTS

• Neteller account – The Neteller account is an online stored-value account that can be used to add, withdraw and transfer funds to and from Neteller merchants and other Neteller customers.
• Net+ Prepaid Mastercard – This card can be used to make transactions safely both online, and in-person at MasterCard point-of-sale locations, as well as the offering the ability to withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide.
• Money Transfer – This allows customers to make instant, simple and safe method by which to send money online from one Neteller account to another meaning the money stays within the system. This, in turn, means that delays and extra charges that may be incurred when moving money around by other methods are avoided.

KEY PERSONNEL

Joel Leonoff – CEO

A Canadian who at the turn of the millenium had the honour of being named in the Globe and Mail’s Canada Top 40 under 40 award which recognised individuals for their leadership, innovation, vision, achievement and community involvement.  Joel has been CEO and President of Optimal Payments PLC since 2011, and his background includes one year at bwin.party digital entertainment plc as Group Operations Director between 2006 and 2007.

Keith Butcher – Chief Financial Officer

Keith arrived at the firm with extensive experience having worked as Finance Director for Datacash Group Plc, an online payments processor, for five years during a period of rapid growth for the company. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG in the UK, and he’s worked as a consultant for firms including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Diagonal Plc.

Dennis Jones – Non-Executive Chairman

Dennis is one of the latest additions to the Optimal Payments Plc ranks as he became Non-Executive Chairman in July 2014. Boasting close to 30 years experience in payments and payments processing, alongside executive roles in the UK, Europe, China and the US he looks likely to help drive the company onwards and upwards. Until 2012 Dennis was also the Non-Executive Chairman of Kroger Personal Finances LLC, the financial services arm of the Kroger Corporation, the second largest American retailer.
