Updating the market, Toronto TSX listed operator Amaya Inc has informed that it has been granted approval by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) for the renewal of state igaming services for its PokerStars and Full Tilt brands.

Amaya renews its New Jersey licensing, which was first granted on 30 September 2015, for the state provisions of PokerStars NJ which was officially launched on 21 March.

Amaya management stated that following its initial launch, New Jersey player reaction had been to its PokerStars product and that the company would endeavour  to create the best online poker and casino services for state players.

Announcing the renewal of New Jersey services, Amaya Interim CEO Rafi Ashkenazi commented

“While it’s very early, we’re extremely pleased with the initial launch of PokerStars in New Jersey and the positive working relationship that Amaya has with the DGE,”

“I’m very proud of our employees, including those we have hired in New Jersey, who have worked diligently to prepare for the launch of a robust, stable platform backed by great customer service. We hope to continue our early positive momentum in the market as PokerStars NJ continues to roll out additional marketing and promotions.”
