Paddy Power has announced the early pay out of Chelsea FC as champions of the English Premier League 2014/2015 season. The Irish bookmaker will payout £400,000 today to punters who tipped Jose Mourinho’s side to lift the title come May 2015.
The bookmaker described it Premier League winners payout as unavoidable, stating that if it continued the market it would only be “delaying the inevitable really?”
This represents the earliest Paddy Power have called a Premier League champion, since the 2005/2006 season, when Paddy Power correctly paid out on Chelsea FC taking the league title.
Chelsea are the seasons form team, having racked up nine wins and two draws in their 11 league games, they are currently four points ahead of this seasons surprise package Southampton FC. The league leaders have an eight point lead over Manchester City last season Premier League winners.
Furthermore the bookmaker has enhanced odds of 7-1 on Chelsea FC going unbeaten this season.
Paddy Power PR gave a breakdown of its Chelsea FC Premier League winners payout, stating:-
