Sports betting operator – Interwetten posted a year on year 7% increase in revenues for the opening quarter of 2014, the operator posted revenues of €11.1 million (£10.1 million).
The operator cited the performance of its mobile sports betting inventory as the key driver for its performance, mobile operations now account for 40% of the operators overall turnover. Furthermore Interwetten had seen increased player activity driven by its new website which was launched at the start of 2014.

The operator has planned for increase marketing and player acquisition campaigns targeting both online and offline channels. Interwetten are set to push campaigns for the World Cup six weeks in advance of the opening match of the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
