_______________

SBC: How did you first get into sports betting?

Jeremy: A long time ago in my city, the first local bookmaker opened, and I started going there because I had watched, followed and loved football since I was a kid. Sometimes my father needed to place bets for me, because I was under 18 at the time.

At what point did you realize that you can make some real money from sports betting?

It kind of just happened as a result of watching a lot of games. I realized that I could make some money with my knowledge and it grew from there.

SBC: How did you come to select football as your chosen sport?

Jeremy: I like to watch other sports too, but football is number 1 (the same for many people). At the beginning, my bookmaker offered just football.  I finished school with a focus on sport management, which was of course focused on football.

What was your best ever bet?

There have been many bets, but I always remember my first big hit, a really long time ago, maybe 10 years. In the German Cup, a long time ago, I forget now who was playing, I had info that one team was truly awful and were almost certain to lose by a huge margin. My local bookmaker didn’t know this and gave odds for over 6.5 goals at about 18.00. I even went to a few other cities to place a bet. The result was 13-0 and 7-0 at half time!

SBC: What kind of factors do you evaluate before making a selection?

Jeremy: I search sites about injuries, suspended players, and look for the importance of each game, as well as current form, financials and transfers, what the coaches have said and for any other information which can help me to make a conclusion regarding a bet. Most importantly for me is watching games live and with that I make decisions about teams and always remember if a team lost unluckily to try to maybe follow them the next time. I try to remember good players and watch where they go in the transfer windows, etc.

Of course, one of the most important things is that in my opinion the bet has value in the odds. Sometimes I skip bets when I don’t see value. Even if that bet won later, I know I made the correct decision as part of my ethos and strategy. The same if I pick a good value bet that loses – I know the decision was correct and justified, and that I’ll profit in the long term from such decisions.

SBC: What has been the biggest influence on your betting career?

Jeremy: My friend, who gave me the advice to try Bet Advisor – before that I didn’t know much about this way of making money. I was reading some forums, but nothing like this. So I started in January 2013, just after New Year I think, on 3rd January.

SBC: What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your betting career?

Jeremy: Probably the biggest challenge was proving to myself that I am good enough on Bet Advisor. I was giving everything from myself, because I never like to lose. After I joined Bet Advisor as a senior tipster, probably the biggest challenge was when I had some months in a huge minus at the beginning of that month, and that was a challenge to me to prove to myself that I can finish that month in any plus. That has happened 3-4 times I think, and in just 1 month from 22 have I finished with a loss (a very small loss!) – in December 2013. I remember I was waiting on a game on New Year’s Eve. The last game was a draw no bet on Iraq U23, but it finished 0-0, and I finished that month at about minus 60 points.

SBC: How do you keep calm when you hit a run of losing bets?

Jeremy: It’s very hard, I don’t know about others, but it seems I am too emotional, and I hate it when we lose any bet and give money to the bookies. Sometimes I get incredibly frustrated when we lose bets in 90+ minutes, or our team misses a penalty. I have no clue how to deal with it, but I need to find a way, because so much stress is not good for my health!

SBC: How do you organize your bank management?

Jeremy: I use flat stakes. I think that’s the best way for clients to see the real statistics of a tipster. And every bet is my best at that moment, so for me there are no bets with lower confidence. If I am not confident and I don’t see value (both at the same moment), I don’t play it.

SBC: What is the best reason you could give to anyone who was thinking about following your service?

Jeremy: Maybe that I give 100% of myself, to do the best job possible and have a winning mentality where I don’t want to have a single bad month. I will always do everything I can to avoid a losing month, which makes my clients happy and satisfied, which makes me proud.

Thank you for this interview and questions, and good luck to everybody in taking everything from “them”, because we really deserve it!
