Golden Race CEO Martin Wachter will be in Amsterdam this week for the iGaming Super Show, with plans to showcase the firm’s cutting edge virtual products

How have you prepared for the event?

Our tenth anniversary as a company has seen us travelling around the globe a lot recently showing off our latest virtual product Real Fighting. We’ve been in Africa, Serbia, Spain, Macao, Brazil and Russia in recent weeks so we’re well prepared to conduct business on the road.

Our very eye-catching Real Fighting aside, we have so many different product types to offer players and clients. We’ve a wide range of sports and games, including pre-recorded racing in HD; 3D soccer in various formats; classic betting games like poker, roulette, and keno; and live streaming lottery and keno products.

What are you doing at the Super Show?

We’re very proud to be participating in the iGaming Super Show. We are a big supporter of the event, which is why we agreed to become the Silver Sponsor for this year’s show. We see it as a great opportunity to showcase our cutting edge virtual product.

It is a particularly appropriate time to be able to demonstrate our 3D Virtual Football. We think that our football game will be a great addition to any business that has attracted lots of football punters.

Our virtual football comes with three different types of format: single match, cup and league, meaning bookmakers can cater for different customer types, and they are available for betting shops, online operators, terminals and mobile.

The beauty of our league format is that we can customise it, names, kits, badges, for an operator’s local league. This means bookmakers can show their customers a 3D virtual football product featuring the players/teams of their countries. We cover all the major leagues and also can feature a wide range of smaller nations, including the top leagues from Nigeria to Columbia to Cyprus.

That’s a huge advantage in these days of localisation.

What are you looking forward to most?

The networking at the Super Show is always fun – there’s always something to do across the week and we find that some people prefer to do business in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Among the conferences, the Betting Trends & Strategies has a lot of relevance for us and the Rising Stars panel looks like it will have plenty of interesting and innovative ideas. We like that.

Also we believe that our product is a great differentiator compared to other suppliers, after all who else can offer real fighting by real fighters for a guaranteed profit? So we might pop into the Player Acquisition Strategies stream and demonstrate how we can make that work to attract new business.

Where can you usually be found at the event?

We have our own stand B96 at the event – but as is the Golden Race tradition you will not miss us in Amsterdam. We’re just next to the VIP lounge, which is appropriate given that we offer Virtuals with Incredible Profit.

We’re looking forward to Club Panama for the Official Party on the Wednesday night too.

Who will win Euro 2016 in your opinion?

It’s been the year of the underdog. Leicester City winning the Premier League in the UK shows anything is possible. And the Euros have previously thrown up surprise winners in the shape of Denmark and Greece. Which is why this year the eventual champions will be… AUSTRIA!
