GVC Holdings appoints Nick Batram as Corporate Strategy lead

London AIM listed betting operator GVC Holdings Plc has confirmed the appointment of Nick Batram as new Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy.

Batram takes on the newly created role, with GVC Holdings having gained full shareholder approval to finalise its takeover of bwin.party Entertainment, the operator will now push to conclude the deal by 1 February.

GVC governance detailed that Batram will assume the role in Q2 of 2016, he joins the operator having served as lead Travel & Leisure Analyst for financial research and broking firm Peel Hunt.

The new role will see Batram take initiative of GVC market facing activities and shareholder communication programme. The position will further encompass developing new corporate business strategies and researching/identifying potential M&A opportunities.
