As the sports betting and gaming industry prepares for its flagship week in London, Optima CEO Jacob Lopez Curciel has urged first time ICE visitors to enjoy the 2017 conference.

This mantra to enjoy the week is underlined by OPTIMA being one of the premium sponsors for this year’s London Baby networking party, that is being held on 7 February at Café De Paris in central London.

Lopez also stated that Optima is closer to achieving its goal ‘to become the most successful organisation in the world at what we do’, and that exceeding targets for 2016 has permitted them to accelerate towards 2017 and 2018 targets.

He said: “For a first-time visitor, the first advice is ‘Enjoy!!!’. No matter what you are looking for, you will be impressed by the colourful and wide spectrum of products and attractive propositions all around the place.

“The key things are to select who you want to learn from, pre-book your meetings in a logical order, and don’t overload your agenda. Quality appointments rather than too many appointments!

He also confirmed Optima’s exhibition focus for ICE 2017 by saying: “We will have many exciting brand new products and latest releases from our product catalogue, such as the new Multi-Supplier Multi-Vertical Promotion Platform and the MGS Multi-Channel Business Intelligence and reporting system.

“We will also be exhibiting the latest version of our MGS native Online and Mobile products, including the new release of OPTIMA POSEIDON™ real time user experience, OPTIMA Serverless™ EPOS version with remote and local standalone offline working modes, and OPTIMA iSHOP™.”

The iSHOP has attracted real attention within the industry, and Lopez admitted to being ‘bowled over’ by the reception of the product, which represents a new ‘in venue’ way for customers to bet on their own devices.

He added: “We have been absolutely bowled over by the reception that the product has had. We have now rolled out also in the UK and are getting good and interesting feedback that will no doubt lead to fast expansion and growth of the product.”
