ITV launches Racing App featuring £100,000 William Hill predictor game

UK broadcaster ITV has announced the launch of its new ITV Racing app sponsored by William Hill. The app which is currently available on the Apple iTunes store will complement ITV Sports racing coverage and will feature a £100,000 predictor game.

Seeking to support its new racing coverage for 2017, ITV has added video clips, results, racing news plus a full racecard listings to the free to download app. Furthermore, the app will feature exclusive content and insights from the ITV Racing team of Ed Chamberlin, Matt Chapman, Oli Bell and Richard Hoiles.

Bookmaker William Hill will support the app by sponsoring its ‘ITV7 Predictor Game’ £100,000 game, in which app users predict the winning horse in each of a day’s seven listed races for a chance to win a £50,000 jackpot.

The ITV Racing app was developed by UK studio Monterosa, who have previously developed the I’m A Celebrity….Get Me Out of Here! app for ITV

William Hill Chief Customer Officer Cem Miralay commented on the app launch: “We’re delighted to be the new sponsors of ITV7 and the new racing app. “ITV7 is sure to evoke fond memories in nostalgic racing fans – and we’re sure it will become a modern-day classic in its new digital format.

“The new deal is a great addition to our sponsorship of ITV’s on-air racing coverage and further demonstrates William Hill’s commitment to the growth of horse racing.”
