Express Newspapers gains online gambling assets with Gaming Realms partnership

Northern & Shell UK news publisher Express Newspapers, have agreed to a real money and social games partnership with industry content and platform provider Gaming Realms.

Confirming the partnership, Gaming Realms governance disclosed that Express Newspapers’ the ‘Daily Express’ and ‘Daily Star’ would launch of two new online gaming websites, Star Wins and Express Wins. 

The UK gaming websites will be provided by Bear Group, Gaming Realms’ real money gaming division, who will further operate and maintain the Express Newspaper online gambling assets.

The Express Newspapers’ digital and print assets will support the online gambling assets with advertising across its media network.

Gaming Realms governance further detailed that the partnership had been set to a three-year revenue share agreement.

Commenting on the agreement, Patrick Southon, CEO of Gaming Realms, said:“It’s fantastic for the Group to sign a partnership deal with one of the UK’s major newspaper businesses. If successful the partnership is expected to unlock a valuable source of revenue as well as potential further opportunities for collaboration.”
